Abode is a new contemporary jazz piece written by Jake Amy which features emerging improvisers Josh Bennier (trombone) and Patrick Danao (drums). This track speaks of a nostalgic yearning for "home". We acknowledge that this music stems from the struggles of black American communities. 10% of all profit will be donated to Black Girl Magik, a collective of artists and community organisers who host workshops and events for women and girls from the African diaspora: www.blackgirlmagik.com We acknowledge that this work was created on stolen land.
